Johor - Malaysian General Election 2013

Malaysian General Election, 2013


The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato' Sri Haji Mohammad Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak has announced the dissolution of parliament of Malaysia in a live nationwide telecast at 11.30am on 03 April 2013. No nomination date has yet been provided by the Election Commission. The Malaysian general election must be held no later than 27 June 2013. The constitutional parliamentary term in Malaysia is five years, after which the Federal Parliament must be dissolved by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on the advice of the Prime Minister as pertained in the Malaysian laws for national elections.
